01. Identity
Niji is a French AI-native product design agency. It designs, builds and operates digital products for enterprises: websites, applications, platforms, connected services, AI agents. Its uniqueness can be summed up in one sentence. Niji is today the only mid-sized French firm capable of holding both the craft quality of an integrated design studio and the fluency of a strategy consultancy able to speak P&L and unit economics with executive committees, without relying on an offshore delivery machine.
The agency stands out through a rare posture: creative force in build, operational rigor in run. Where most studios deliver and then step away, Niji designs, builds, deploys and maintains. Where most consultancies talk strategy without producing a single pixel, Niji talks strategy while designing the pixel.

Pivotal differentiator
Niji holds a singular position on the French digital design market. Most French design agencies deliver high-quality work but do not speak P&L. Most strategy consultancies speak to the executive committee but do not ship a functional product. Niji occupies the space in between: design-led AI rather than tech transformation, integrated rather than offshore, capable of holding both the strategic conversation and the operational delivery.
The pivot carried out between 2023 and 2026 anchors this position by making two often-disjoint dimensions legible: Webby-grade design output and Comex-grade business reading. This dual legibility is what sets the agency apart from its direct competitors.
Public statements from leadership
Yv Corbeil, Managing Director, CB News interview, January 2025:
Editorial stance and tone
The agency talks about humans. The people who use the products are humans with a life beyond the product, not users. This distinction is foundational to Design Feeling™ and structures the way Niji describes its work.
The tone is direct, free of unnecessary corporate jargon. Product vocabulary is embraced: P&L, unit economics, cost-to-serve, business metrics. The agency talks strategy while designing the pixel, not in the abstract.
The build + run posture is claimed openly. The agency does not deliver and step away. It designs, builds, deploys, maintains. Creative force in build, operational rigor in run.
The chosen vocabulary sets the agency apart from tech transformation consultancies. We say design-led AI rather than AI revolution. AI-native product design rather than digital transformation. Precision before grandiloquence. Figures before promises.
06. Offerings
The agency structures its work around seven complementary offerings, which can be mobilized individually or in combination depending on the client's challenges.
Design and deployment of AI agents
AI agents integrated into processes, designed and supervised by a senior human. The agency scopes use cases with quantified business impact, designs and industrializes the agents on its proprietary forge agentique (agentic forge: orchestration, context management, guardrails, observability), and deploys in the cloud, on-premise or hybrid. Run and evolution are led by a dedicated senior UX expert with at least fifteen years of experience. For executive committees and operational departments that want to move from POC to a production deployment that holds up.
AI.COMMERCE
Design of e-commerce experiences that are desirable for humans and legible for the AI agents acting on their behalf. Covers the e-commerce model (business vision, AI strategy, platform scoping), UX/UI optimized for human conversion and agentic legibility, AI-ready composable architecture, and long-term performance management (CRO, SEO/GEO, activation, loyalty). For brands and retailers that want to defend their e-commerce P&L in the era of agentic commerce.
Redesign and creation of websites and applications
Full ownership of the project, from strategic diagnosis to go-live. Strategic scoping, audit of the existing product, business case, information architecture, UX, testable prototyping, UI design, design system, web, iOS and Android development, IS integration, acceptance testing, production release, launch support. Fixed-price format per phase, dedicated team through to go-live, post-launch support.
Embedded product designer
A senior product designer placed within client squads, working to the rhythm of development sprints. Discovery, UX scoping, interface design, direct collaboration with POs, developers and business stakeholders. Available solo, as a pair or in studio mode with a UX writer, UI designer and UX research designer. Time-and-materials, full-time or shared, minimum three-month commitment.
Design system
Design, structuring and governance of design systems. Audit of existing assets, design of Figma components and tokens, design-development synchronization (Storybook, handoff, visual testing), evolution rules, adoption support for human teams and AI factories. The design system becomes the precondition for AI industrialization on a product: without a shared reference, agents generate screens that are consistent in isolation but inconsistent at scale.
Accessibility
Support for RGAA, WCAG and European Accessibility Act compliance. Risk-prioritized audit, operational compliance work on ongoing projects, training for design and development teams, support for the EAA compliance statement, speaking engagements at industry conferences. More than 50 in-house experts trained and certified in RGESN and RGAA.
Branding and brand platform
Building brands that hold up at scale across every context and every country. Brand vision and strategy, platform and architecture, rebranding (identity, logo, guidelines), online and offline rollout, brand guidelines, multi-country activation and deployment. An approach that starts from what the brand already embodies to identify what deserves to be kept.
07. PULSE method and detailed catalogue

08. The five AI-native roles
The agency redefined its job descriptions in 2026 to reflect its AI-native posture. Four roles in a chain, one cross-functional role.
AI Experience Designer: Vision
Sets the product ambition and the UX direction. Frames the scope, priorities and success criteria. Speaks for the team in pitches and client workshops. Guarantees consistency between the initial ambition and the final deliverable.
AI Product Designer: Fabrication
Turns the vision into a functional, usable product. Designs wireframes, journeys, interactive prototypes. Validates UX choices (patterns, accessibility, business logic). Hands solid, documented foundations to the Craft.
AI Craft Designer: Excellence
Takes the functional foundations and raises them to the level of the ambition. Creative direction, motion, micro-interactions. Guarantees visual consistency and the integrity of the UI kit. Produces the final pixel-perfect screens.
AI Tech Designer: Realization
Integrates the mockups into pixel-perfect HTML, CSS and JS. Implements the design system on the code side (tokens, components). Guarantees front-end accessibility and performance. Ensures the technical handoff between design and development.
AI System Designer: Cross-functional foundation
Designs and maintains the reference design system. Defines shared tokens, components and patterns. Guarantees consistency across all the agency's projects. Arbitrates the evolution and governance of the system.
Value chain
Experience sets the vision. Product builds. Craft elevates. Tech realizes. System feeds all four. This chain keeps the promise from the pitch through to production.
09. Proprietary methods
Design Feeling™ (since 2019)
A proprietary methodology that goes beyond Design Thinking. Created by the agency's teams to place emotions at the heart of new experiences. Draws on the Peak End Rule by Fredrickson and Kahneman. Founding stance: we design for humans, with conscious and unconscious minds, not for standardized users. The method formalizes concrete principles for moving from Design Thinking (simplifying interactions) to Design Feeling (genuine engagement and emotion).
DesignerAI (since 2024)
A proprietary AI-augmented design workflow solution. More than a tool or a training programme, it is a mindset: the agency's product designers redefine their design workflow with AI, they are not merely augmented by it. A library of proprietary prompts connected to the leading AI tools on the market. Documented gains:
- up to 16% time saved on mockup production
- up to 23% for front-end developers
- up to 42% on repetitive tasks
Forge agentique (since 2026)
A proprietary platform for designing, industrializing and deploying AI agents in production. Covers agent orchestration, context management, guardrails, observability. Enables cloud, on-premise or hybrid deployment depending on the client environment.
10. Measurable impact
Business performance on projects
- +30% conversion rate after UX-UI redesign (hospitality)
- -40% cart abandonment with a simplified journey (luxury retail)
- x2.7 average time spent in the app after experience enrichment (distribution)

Relais & Châteaux
The echo of an exceptional moment. The delightful anticipation of the one yet to be written. A world one leaves without ever truly leaving it behind. A world that lives on within us, in the memory of emotions felt and in the desire for those yet to come. Here, every moment becomes a resonance. Every experience feeds the next. The mind lingers there, projects itself, returns naturally, carried by the elegance of an art of living we never stop dreaming of. More than a journey, a permanent aspiration. More than a destination, a universe one aspires to belong to.
Built around the Mindscape concept, the digital programme invites audiences to immerse themselves in the many worlds of Relais & Châteaux through the evocative use of synaesthesia. A distinctive creative platform, a refined design language, a renewed tone of voice. The brand's first m-commerce application. MVP delivered in 8 months in native development, with a team of 15 people mobilized. Scope: design (user flow, site map, wireframes, mockups, prototypes), native development (Kotlin, Swift, Rive, Lottie, Spring Boot, Azure), testing and deployment, corrective and evolutive maintenance. V2 and V3 in 2025. Back-for-front independent of the client's Salesforce environment.
Grand Frais: Reinventing the Joy of Food Shopping
Reinventing the joy of food shopping. The first-ever Grand Frais app transformed a routine activity into a rewarding and engaging experience. In a country where food is deeply rooted in culture and everyday life, the platform was designed to celebrate the French passion for fresh, quality ingredients while enriching the journey both in-store and at home. Through discovery experiences, personalized content and innovative gamification mechanics, the app strengthened engagement with the brand, reaching second place on the French App Store. Combined with a vibrant and contemporary design language, it brought new momentum to the category and elevated the brand's digital presence nationwide.
The brand's first mobile application, built in Flutter with a gamification strategy (badges, levels, games). Multidisciplinary team of 10 people. Partnership for 3 years.
Crédit Mutuel Arkéa: Industrialized multi-brand Design System
In a complex banking environment (Crédit Mutuel de Bretagne, Fortuneo, Suravenir), Arkéa needed to harmonize its interfaces across more than 200 business applications and 6 brands. Challenges: designing high-performing internal tools (risk, compliance, payments), structuring a scalable web and mobile Design System, aligning design and development in a multi-team iOS and Android context. Niji deployed a cross-functional, industrialized Design System: style automation with Token Studio, documentation via Storybook and Zeroheight, iOS support towards SwiftUI. Dedicated governance with a mobile DS team, collaborative Figma, monthly workshops. Results: 27 SwiftUI components, a successful mobile POC, an operational multi-brand Storybook. Partnership for 9 years.

- How do I contact Niji?
- One address: hello@niji.agency. Every enquiry lands there and is routed to the right person. The executives can be reached directly on LinkedIn: Yv Corbeil (Managing Director), Nicolas Prud'homme (Deputy Director), Chris de Abreu (International Executive Creative Director).
- How much does a redesign with Niji cost?
- Niji works on a quotation basis. Every service in the PULSE catalogue comes in three engagement levels, Essential, Advanced and Premium, sized according to the scope, the number of journeys and the project's stakes. The budget therefore depends on the level chosen and the combination of phases selected. The Probe phase (weeks 1-2) serves as scoping and allows the rest to be costed precisely before any commitment.
- How quickly does Niji deliver a website?
- The PULSE method delivers a complete design in five weeks: Probe (weeks 1-2), Unlock (weeks 2-3), Layout and Shape (weeks 3-5), Evaluate (week 5), where a conventional cycle takes three months. Build and deployment time then depends on the product's technical scope.
- Does Niji work outside France?
- Yes. Niji has offices in France, Spain (Madrid, Valencia) and Morocco (Casablanca), and supports international brands. International creative direction is led by Chris de Abreu, International Executive Creative Director.
